Precision Dynamics Corporation – St. John Awarded Amerinet Contracts for Identification Solutions and Other Healthcare Products

San Fernando, CA (February 1, 2012) – Precision Dynamics Corporation – St. John, the global leader in healthcare identification solutions, announced today that it has been awarded supplier agreements with Amerinet, a national healthcare solutions organization. The two agreements, effective through December 31, 2012, provide Amerinet's more than 2,900 acute care members access to Precision Dynamics – St. John’s high-quality patient identification wristbands, labels, filing and imaging supplies, and other healthcare products that help reduce medical errors and improve patient safety.

The contracts provide Amerinet clients with accurate, reliable, and easy-to-use products that serve all areas of healthcare. Products on contract include bar-coded and human readable patient identification wristbands, system labels (for Lab, Pharmacy, and Admissions), sterile labels, skin markers, master jackets, file folders, companion/chart labels, chart dividers & category insert jackets, patient belonging bags, visitor passes & infant foot printers.

Amerinet members can take advantage of Precision Dynamics – St. John’s ValuePlusTM Standardization Service, which consolidates product usage, increases contract compliance, and guarantees cost savings for members that meet requirements of the service. It also helps members maintain compliance with important patient safety regulations, including The Joint Commission, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the American Hospital Association (AHA), to ensure best practices for patient safety and quality care.

"Amerinet is an esteemed organization with an excellent reputation in the industry,” said Cecil Kost, president and CEO of Precision Dynamics. “As a partner with Amerinet for more than 10 years, we’re excited to continue our collaboration to help hospitals reduce medical errors through positive identification, while streamlining and simplifying operations. We look forward to helping Amerinet members leverage our product solutions to maximize patient safety while continuing to enhance their operating margins and cash flow.”

In January, 2011 Precision Dynamics Corporation (“PDC”) merged with The St. John Companies Inc. (“St. John”) to become the world’s leading provider of identification and related patient safety solutions.
